Planning a wedding ceremony is an act of co-creation and I’m here to make your strangest ideas into a joyful ceremony for you and your guests – and help you find the words for the ideas you didn’t know you had yet.

Would you like to get married on a tidal island and say your vows as the tide starts to turn? Would you like everyone at the wedding to tie a knot in your handfasting cords before you do, creating a memento of your beautifully entangled lives? What about ring exchange vows based on your favourite song lyrics? What if you have absolutely no idea yet what you’d like your ceremony to involve but you know you want it to be a party/a small, intimate occasion/somehow both of the above? 

Wherever you’re at, planning your wedding ceremony should be a joyful process, something you both enjoy almost as much as the day itself (!) - not a slot-together ceremony from pre-made components. A Humanist ceremony reflects who you are as human beings - your values, the way you look out for and support each other and those gathered with you, your hopes for the future and everyone in it. It starts with a big old reminisce and then where we go from there... is very much up to you.
